In Guwahati, a French language course for tour guides is being held

Under the leadership of Regional Director Anil Oraw and in collaboration with the Global Academy of Foreign Languages, Guwahati, India Tourism (North East) introduced a basic French language course. They organised a foreign language course for members of the All Assam Tourist Guide Association in Guwahati.

The two-week French language course was introduced to improve the efficiency of Assam’s tourist guides. With the state’s noticeable increase in foreign tourists, this course will benefit tour guides. It was also stated that such basic foreign language courses would be held in various parts of the region.
