Man Arrested in Dispur for Job Fraud Scam

Dispur Police arrested Sahidul Islam (39) from Gorchuk for allegedly duping multiple people by falsely promising permanent jobs in exchange for money. Islam targeted individuals linked to Shikshamitra in Goalpara district. The fraud was exposed after Kiran Deka Kalita, a registrar at the Directorate of Secondary Education, filed a complaint. Police set up a trap and arrested Islam at an arranged meeting. He confessed to the crime and is currently in custody as investigations continue.
