Massive Drug Bust in Karimganj: One Lakh Yaba Tablets Seized

Karimganj police conducted a significant operation against drug trafficking in Sri Krishna Nagar, resulting in the seizure of a staggering one lakh Yaba tablets from a vehicle. Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted the vehicle with registration number AS 01 FK 2939. Two individuals suspected of involvement in trafficking, Abdul Hasan and Shaharul Islam, were apprehended. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the operation, highlighting the police’s success in intercepting the narcotics network and arresting key individuals involved in the smuggling operation.
