Minor school girl abducted, gang-raped by six men in Assam

In a horrifying incident reported from Assam, six men allegedly gang-raped a minor girl, police said on Thursday. The incident reportedly took place in Nagaon district of the state.

The accused had kept the girl captive for two days and gang-raped her. The minor girl has now been admitted to hospital where she is undergoing treatment.

According to Nagaon BP Civil Hospital Superintendent Dr L C Nath, the 16-year-old girl was brought in an e-rickshaw by a youth in a semi-conscious state.
