NRL Completes World’s Longest Brahmaputra River Pipeline Crossing

Numaligarh Refinery Ltd has successfully completed the Brahmaputra River HDD crossing under the Paradip–Numaligarh Crude Oil Pipeline project. Spanning 4,058 metres, it is the world’s longest river crossing for a 26-inch crude oil pipeline. The milestone was achieved using advanced HDD technology despite challenging conditions, reflecting coordinated efforts by NRL, EIL, project partners and local authorities.
