Police in Guwahati seize counterfeit currency and apprehend the suspect

While apprehending a key suspect, Guwahati City Police successfully confiscated a large amount of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN).

A joint team from the West Guwahati Police District and the Jalukbari Outpost swung into action against the illegal FICN trade, leading to the arrest of Mofidul Islam, a 29-year-old resident of the Bihpuriya area in Lakhimpur district. The operation took place in Jalukbari, near the Bhupen Hazarika Samadjhi Sthal.
