Police officers from Assam were attacked in Guwahati

An Assam Police officer was injured by an unidentified miscreant who used a blade to injure him. The incident occurred in the BBC Colony neighbourhood of Pandu, Guwahati.

Babul Das, a commando in the Commando Battalion in Mandakata, was identified as the victim. He was visiting a rented house when he noticed some people arguing. When he tried to intervene and end the fight, one of the miscreants attacked him with a blade and fled. An FIR was filed at the Jalukbari Police Station, and it is suspected that the attacker was under the influence of drugs.
