The victim’s mother accuses the homeowner and maid of killing her daughter

When the body of a girl was found in her rented Guwahati flat, the victim’s mother accused the maid and the landlord of being at fault, saying that the boyfriend—who had been named as the primary suspect—was not to blame because they were getting married shortly.

The mother of the victim stated that, despite being a very courageous and gifted girl, she could never take the extreme step of ending her own life. She mentioned that the maid, Junu Borah, and the property’s owner, Ramesh Bharali, had planned the murder. She added that the owner would frequently knock on her door late at night. Since their marriage was practically fixed, she also denied that Rahul Hazarika could have committed the same crime. In relation to the incident, he was previously regarded as the main suspect.
