Tomorrow, President Murmu will meet with opposition leaders to discuss the Manipur issue

President Droupadi Murmu has accepted Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge’s request to hear the opposition parties’ concerns on the ongoing Manipur issue. The President has agreed to meet the Opposition MPs (Members of Parliament) at 11.30 am on Wednesday.

The demand for a comprehensive discussion on the violence in Manipur has been raised by the opposition parties in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha since the beginning of the monsoon session on July 20.
