UGC guidelines for Divyangjans to be adopted by Assam institutions

In order to assist all students, particularly Divyangjan of higher educational institutions (HEIs), the UGC (University Grants Commission) has prepared framed guidelines titled “Credit Based Course on Pedagogical Aspects for Teaching Divyangjan and Specific Learning Disabilities (SLDs). The action aligns with NEP-2020.

In order to help students with specific learning disabilities become responsible citizens who can equally contribute to nation-building, the UGC requested that universities and HEIs adopt these guidelines. The HEIs in Assam will reportedly adopt these recommendations as well, according to official sources.
