Vehicle of Tea estate manager set ablaze in Assam by Unidentified miscreants

A tea estate manager was assaulted and his vehicle set ablaze by unidentified miscreants in Tinsukia district on Monday.

The incident occured at Section 31 of Hansra division in Raidang tea estate under Doomdooma police station around 4.30 pm when the garden manager, identified as Jagdish Singh Phulera, had gone to the tea estate on a regular inspection.

According to the FIR lodged by Phulera, he was first attacked by a group of miscreants before they proceeded to set his vehicle on fire.
