3.9 magnitude Earthquake hits Meghalaya

An earthquake of magnitude 3.9 on the Richter Scale hit the northeastern State of Meghalaya on February 16 morning at 9.26 a.m., according to the National Centre for Seismology.

According to official data, the earthquake with an epicentre in the East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya was 46 km deep.
