Sivasagar man committed suicide as wife lodge complaint against him

In the Sivasagar district of Assam, a man committed suicide as his wife is reported to have gone to the police station to file a complaint against him.

The incident happened in Kalibari, under the Sivasagar district, and the deceased has been identified as Rajiv Phukan (47)

The deceased’s neighbours said that he went to the extreme lengths while his wife went to the police station to lodge a complaint against him, and they further stated that domestic issues were the reason for the tragedy.

The deceased, who was a vendor at the DTO office, is survived by his mother, son, and wife.
