School Brawl in Assam Escalates, Five Injured; Police Investigate

A minor altercation between students at PC Borjalenga School on Saturday escalated into a violent clash, leaving five injured and leading to a police investigation.

Seven juveniles involved in the incident have been detained and placed in a state home for further inquiry. The district administration responded promptly, deploying senior officials and police to control the situation.

Cachar SP Numal Mahatta confirmed that FIRs have been filed and an investigation is underway. Three of the injured were taken to Silchar Medical College for treatment. Authorities are working to prevent further incidents.
