A person was arrested on charge of raping a nine-year-old girl near Kamakhya

A photographer based at Kamakhya Temple in Nilachal Hills in the city allegedly raped a nine-year-old girl. The incident is said to have happened on Friday night near the VIP parking lot outside the Kamakhya Temple.

According to sources, Nayan Haloi, a photographer, was accused of raping the minor girl in front of her mother. The incident is said to have occurred on Friday night, and the mother filed a FIR at the Kamakhya police station on Saturday morning.
