A laborer from Barpeta died in a wall collapse

A labourer was killed when the building’s wall collapsed while he was working on the construction of a three-layer building on the SOS road under Azara Police Station. Tuesday evening was the day the incident happened. The worker, Tahizuddin Ali alias Babu, is a 19-year-old from Barpeta.

The worker was resting on the third floor of the building, according to sources. Then, all of a sudden, a wall fell on top of him, leaving him dead. He was admitted to Azara Hospital by other construction site workers. He was later pronounced dead.
