A senior ULFA-I leader and one cadre were executed in the outfit’s Myanmar camp

Two senior members of the United Liberation Front of Assam Independent (ULFA-I) have reportedly been executed as a form of capital punishment within the group’s Myanmar camp.

According to reports, the outfit took this action against the members for allegedly engaging in anti-outfit activities.

Lachit Hazarika, aka Salim Asom and Bornali, have been identified as the duo. Meanwhile, Lachit was sentenced earlier on September 20.
