Guwahati Police apprehended five ATM scammers in the city

A WGPD team from Azara PS and Jalukbari PS apprehended a gang of five ATM scammers who were duping people by offering assistance and swapping their ATM cards for fake ones.

This gang was active in Guwahati and in the vicinity of the LGBI Airport. They were apprehended on Monday after receiving a tip. Mofiz Uddin (25), Shafiqul Islam (29), Anowar Hussain (23), Rafiqul Islam (25) and Mokibul Islam (22) are the arrested suspects from Kalgachia, Barpeta.
