AGP Gears Up for Upcoming Bye-Elections and Panchayat Polls

The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), an ally of the BJP-led NDA, is preparing for the upcoming bye-elections for five assembly constituencies and Panchayat polls. AGP President Atul Bora announced a series of organizational initiatives, including a week-long booth-level Sanmilan across the state starting August 25, and a three-day party workshop in Guwahati from August 19 to 21. AGP will contest the Bongaigaon assembly seat. Bora also provided an update on the Assam-Mizoram border talks scheduled for August 9.
