Air India Express Expands Flight Operations in Northeast

Air India Express has increased flights from Guwahati, Agartala, and Imphal under its winter schedule. Weekly flights from Guwahati rose to 106, connecting eight domestic and six international destinations. Imphal’s flights increased to 34 weekly, while Agartala saw a rise to 21 weekly since its addition in September 2024. The airline aims to boost Northeast connectivity and strengthen Guwahati as a travel hub.
