Assam Book Fair 2024 Moves to Khanapara Amid GNB Flyover Construction

The Assam Book Fair, a cherished Guwahati event, will relocate from Chandmari’s AEI playground to Khanapara’s Veterinary College ground for its 2024 edition. The venue change addresses traffic concerns due to ongoing GNB flyover construction.

Scheduled from December 27, 2024, to January 7, 2025, the fair aims to provide a seamless experience for visitors. Assam Publication Board Secretary Pramod Kalita assured that the new location would comfortably host attendees.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the fair for its literary contributions and wished for its success.
