At the Guwahati Railway Station, ganja, Burmese supari, fake gold, and heroin were seized

At Guwahati Railway Station, the Government Railway Police (GRP) seized 18.770 kg of Ganja from the Hamsafar Express (Agartala to Benguluru). Three women have been arrested in this case: Manju Das from Jharkhand, Sandhya Sarkar from West Bengal, and Anjali Paul from West Bengal. The GRP, on the other hand, recently seized 32 bags of Burmese supari at the Guwahati Railway Station. According to sources, those bags were seized while attempting to board the Saraighat Express.

The GRP apprehended another person with boat-shaped fake gold at Kamakhya Railway station from the Deoghar Express. Kumar Tantik of Bihar was identified as the suspect. Anuj Bora (30) of Noonmati was arrested at the FCI gate in Bamunimaidan by teams from the Special Operation Group (SOG) and the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) of Chandmari Police Station. 11.82 gms of suspected heroin were seized by the team.
