Bandana Kalita, the accused in the double murder of Noonmati granted bail

Bandana Kalita, the main suspect in the Noonmati double murder case, was granted bail on Friday by the Kamrup (M) District and Sessions Judge Court.

Bandana Kalita was the main accused in Meghalaya of murdering her husband and mother-in-law and then chopping the bodies and disposing of the body parts. She was granted bail on the condition that she report to the Noonmati Police Station twice a week and obtain permission before leaving the district.
