Body of a woman discovered in mysterious circumstances in Hengrabari

On Sunday, the body of a woman was discovered in mysterious circumstances at her rented home in the Hengrabari area. The body has been identified as Anushka Saikia’s from Dhemaji.

According to sources, the Dispur Police were notified, and the officers quickly arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and began an investigation into the incident. Junu Borah, the housekeeper, was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning.

Locals claimed that the maid and the owner of the house were both involved in the victim’s murder. Some claimed that the domestic helper was having an affair with the residence’s owner. Locals also claimed that after Anushkha learned of the affair, she informed her family members, resulting in a feud between the two.
