Brahmaputra River Ferry Services Suspended Due to Rising Water Levels

Ferry services between Guwahati and North Guwahati have been halted for the second consecutive day due to a sudden surge in the water levels of the Brahmaputra River. The Inland Water Transport department imposed temporary restrictions on April 28 following heavy rainfall on April 27. Services are anticipated to resume by the evening of April 29.
