CLP leader Debabrata Saikia insists on loyalty criteria for Lok Sabha tickets

Debabrata Saikia, leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP), said on Sunday that there should be no controversy over the list of 84 probable candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, clarifying that only those who have requested a ticket figure on the list.

According to Saikia, an unwelcome controversy is brewing over the list of potential candidates. “This is not the complete list. Those who requested a ticket from the APCC president are on the list. There is a process in place, and the final list may not include all of the likely candidates.”
