Empowering Tomorrow’s Voters: SSA Initiates Letter-Writing Campaign for Voter Education

The Mission Director of Samagra Shiksha Axom (SSA) has urged District Mission Coordinators to encourage voter education awareness through a letter-writing activity among students under 18. This initiative, part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program by the Election Department of Assam, aims to educate youth about democracy and the importance of voting. Students will write letters to their parents, urging them to vote, with exemplary letters recognized by District Election Authorities. Teachers are tasked with facilitating this activity, promoting active participation in the democratic process among the younger generation.
