For Lok Sabha election The BJP is planning a plan for upper Assam after BTR

The BJP has planned its approach to be used in the upper Assam seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, following BTR (Bodoland Territorial Region). A series of discussions regarding the upper Assam constituencies were held by the party’s state president, Bhabesh Kalita, and chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Party insiders claim that the party has taken steps to fortify its organisations in each of the state’s 14 Lok Sabha seats. One of the party sources stated, “We have started measures to boost party organisations in upper Assam after the organisational boost in the BTR.”
