Guwahati: Award for Assam’s National Health Mission

Assam received the prestigious award for the Best Performing State under the National Mental Health Programme in the category of north-eastern states. Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya, Mission Director, National Health Mission Assam, accepted the award on Tuesday at the DRDO Auditorium in New Delhi, accompanied by state officials.

According to a press release, the event was organised by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India.
