IIT-Madras Experts Assess Jal Jeevan Mission Implementation in Tamulpur

Two experts from IIT-Madras, Sridhar and Sheik Abdullah Bin Jahan, along with their team, recently conducted inspections in Tamulpur district to evaluate the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).

The team visited six pipe water supply schemes (PWSS) and interacted with local residents and stakeholders, including Water User Committees, Jalmitras, and ASHAs, to assess the impact of the water supply projects. They also attended a meeting at Uparkhuti village, reviewing the success of the program and discussing challenges and benefits of the water supply schemes.
