In Assam, the mother of a month-old baby was raped and killed

Officials said on Tuesday that a mother od a month-old baby was gang-raped and killed at her home in Assam’s Morigaon district.

The incident occurred on Monday night in the district’s Pasatia area, while the husband of the now-dead 25-year-old victim was away.

She was at home with her newborn when unknown intruders broke open the door, raped her, and strangled her to death, according to reports.
