In Guwahati, Minister Ashok Singhal assesses urban flooding

Assam Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Ashok Singhal visited several locations in the city to assess the waterlogging problem, which has become a major issue since Friday morning. The minister blamed the flooding on above-average rains, noting that the city had received 167.80 mm of rain in the previous 48 hours, compared to a total of 171 mm in September.
