Kamrup Metro to Crack Down on Unregistered Health Institutions
The Joint Director of Health Services has directed Block PHC in-charges to identify unregistered and improperly documented health institutions in Kamrup Metro.
As per the Clinical Establishment Act, 2010, adopted by the state in 2015, all health institutions must register to operate legally. Strict action, including legal measures, will be taken against violators, especially those employing government staff unlawfully or using government doctors during public duty hours.
The public is urged to report any unregistered facilities to the health authorities for prompt action.
