Manipur Police Busts Massive Fake Currency & Drugs Racket In Imphal

In a joint search operation, a combined team of Manipur police and Border Security Force (BSF) stationed in Manipur’s Churachandpur district on Thursday busted a local arms manufacturing unit and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunitions from New Lamka area of Churachandpur district headquarters.

The officials also recovered narcotics and several bundles of 500 currency notes, two people were also arrested in the matter. According to the local media, the police also found several items used for printing the fake notes.
