Pro-Khalistani Slogans Found in Guwahati Spark Concern

Pro-Khalistani slogans were discovered on the walls of the Post Office area in Guwahati on Thursday evening, causing alarm among locals and authorities. The inscriptions, including “Declare Khalistan territory,” were painted by unidentified individuals. Authorities swiftly responded by covering the graffiti with white paint.
Currently, police have no leads on the perpetrators and are investigating the incident. This comes in the context of Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh, recently elected to Parliament from Khadoor Sahib in Punjab, who has been detained under the National Security Act since November last year at Dibrugarh jail in Assam.
