Six peddlers were apprehended by a Special Task Force with 87.4 gm of heroin

Acting on intelligence, the Special Task Force (STF) launched an operation in Amtola, under the jurisdiction of the Sonapur PS, and apprehended six suspected heroin peddlers. Binud Medhi (32) of Biswanath, Marshal Suting (26) and Bicky Lengdo (18) of Ri-Bhoi district in Meghalaya, Raj Thapa (26) of Sonapur, Donbok (24) and Sahara Begum (40) of Amtola in Sonapur are the six peddlers.

The STF team seized 30 plastic vials and three tobacco boxes concealing 87.4 grammes of suspected heroin, nine empty vials, one empty tobacco box, five mobile phones, Rs 4700 in cash, and four syringes from their possession.
