Solar lights have been distributed to schoolchildren in Guwahati

Touch of Humanity (an NGO) launched “Let’s Light Up Life” on the auspicious eve of Diwali this year. Under this initiative, they distributed solar lamps to poor school-age children’s families who are still without basic electricity, preventing them from studying at night.

It is an attempt to encourage children to study and advance in life, similar to how a lamp provides light in the dark.
