The Guwahati Jal Board has announced the restoration of water supply in Hatigarh

On Tuesday, the Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) announced the resumption of water supply in the greater Hatigarh area. The agency announced on social media site X that water supply would resume at 1 p.m. on Friday.

This development came to light following the recent incident of a water pipeline leak in the city’s Harigarh Chariali neighbourhood on Tuesday, which caused the water supply in the DMA6G4 area to be suspended.
