Guwahati: Assam urns for Amrit Vatika arrive in Delhi

Urns containing soil from Assam for the construction of an Amrit Vatika arrived at New Delhi Railway Station on Saturday afternoon via the Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express.

Over the last five weeks, 270 urns filled with soil were collected from Assam’s 26,098 villages and towns and delivered to the national capital.
