Assam Vigilance Team Nabs Patwari for Bribery in Silchar

The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption team in Assam arrested Patwari Nurul Hoque Barbhuiya from Silchar district on bribery charges. He was caught accepting a bribe related to compensation for land acquired for road construction. This follows the July 15 arrest of SI Fazail Haque from Dhubri district on similar charges.
