Fatal Collision: Train Strikes E-Rickshaw at Unmanned Crossing in Ainakhal

A tragic accident occurred on Friday morning in Ainakhal when a running train hit an e-rickshaw, killing one person on the spot. The Lala-bound train was coming from Hailakandi station. The victim, identified as Bilaluddin Majumdar, was yet to be confirmed as either the driver or passenger of the e-rickshaw. Locals blamed the unmanned railway crossing for the accident. Police have detained one of the two staff members who were on duty, while the other reportedly fled.
