An employee fled away with money from a shop owner in Guwahati

One of his employees defrauded the owner of a shop in the city’s Fancy Bazar area of a large sum of money. According to sources, Pradeep Bothra, who owns a clothing store in Fancy Bazar’s Mohan Market, gave his employee Rs 8 lakh to deposit in his bank account. The employee, however, went missing following the incident. When the person failed to make the deposit and did not return the owner’s phone call, the owner filed a FIR with the Fancy Bazar police, informing them of the incident.
