Sonapur police apprehend two people and rescue 40 cattle

A team from the Sonapur Police Station, which is part of the East Guwahati Police District in the state, stopped a truck with the registration number NL 01 AF 0592 near the Sonapur Toll Gate. A total of 40 cattle were discovered during an inspection of the vehicle, which was being transported into Meghalaya.

The team rescued the animals, arrested two cattle smugglers in connection with the incident, and then filed a legal action against them.
