Assam CM launches a financial assistance programme to assist youth in starting businesses

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday launched a scheme to help youths start their own businesses in an effort to spur growth through self-employment.

Sarma unveiled the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2023 at a function here. He also launched a scheme registration portal.

He added that the programme will provide financial assistance to two lakh young people in order to help them build a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem.
