Clash broke out along the interstate border between Assam and Meghalaya

Locals from both sides used bows and arrows and catapults to attack each other in a disputed village along the Assam-Meghalaya inter-State boundary on September 27, officials said.

However, no injuries were reported in the September 26 incident in Lapangap village, which lies on the border between Meghalaya’s West Jaintia Hills district and Assam’s West Karbi Anglong district.
