Guwahati Police seized heroin and brown sugar in the city

A Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) team from Satgaon PS raided the Nowapara home of one Rohit Ali alias Bholu and seized 13 vials of suspected heroin weighing 85 gms per vial. Rohit Ali has been arrested, and legal action has been taken.

A West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) team from Fatasil Ambari PS, on the other hand, arrested a couple from Datalpara, Md Sayed Ali (38) and Jamila Begum (42) after seven vials of suspected brown sugar weighing 11.80 gm were seized from their possession. A legal action has been filed.
