In Meghalaya, 15 sex workers were arrested

As many as 15 sex workers were arrested in Meghalaya under the Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act today.

Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills, Sylvester Nongtnger today said that foot patrolling has been intensified in the areas around Khyndailad to take action on sex workers whose acts of soliciting customers are not only illegal but often the cause for many law and order problems.
