Over 100 people have become ill after consuming ‘prasad’ in the Assam district of Lakhimpur. Individuals suffering from the illness are currently receiving medical attention, according to officials, after exhibiting symptoms of food poisoning such as diarrhoea, vomiting, and stomach pain.

According to a senior official, the incident occurred on Saturday night at No. 1 Thekeraguri in Dhakuakhana, and people began complaining of uneasiness on Sunday afternoon.
