Teen’s Death at Observation Home Sparks Mystery in Boko

A 13-year-old boy died hours after his parents visited him at an observation home in Bongaon, Boko. The teen, brought by Paltan Bazar Police on November 8 for alleged theft under drug influence, was admitted to Bamunigaon Model Hospital shortly after their visit.

The parents, shocked by the sudden death, claimed no explanation was provided by the doctors. Boko Police are investigating, with Officer-in-Charge Phanindra Nath revealing that the teen had been previously admitted to GMCH for health issues. The body has been sent for postmortem.

The observation home, established under the Juvenile Justice Act, remains under scrutiny.
