Tibetan Youth Congress Bike Rally Reaches Dibrugarh, Highlights Chinese Atrocities

A nationwide bike rally by the Tibetan Youth Congress advocating for Tibet’s historical independence reached Dibrugarh on Friday. Flagged off on November 22 from Bumla Pass, Arunachal Pradesh, the rally will cover 20,000 km in two months.

Activists aim to expose Chinese atrocities, including cultural genocide and environmental exploitation in Tibet. Tibetan Youth Congress President Gonpo Dhundup expressed gratitude to India for its support and urged the government to recognize Tibet’s independent status and address environmental concerns caused by China’s actions, including damming and resource exploitation.
